HomeMy WebLinkAboutBOARD MINUTES 11-06-15central MINUTES SPECIAL BOARD MEETING Multi- Purpose Room Friday, November 6, 2015 8:30 a.m. ROLL CALL Sanitary District BOARD OF DIRECTORS: MICHAEL R AICGILL President TAD J PILECKI President Pro Tem PAUL H CAUSEY JAMIESA NEJEDLY DAVID R WILLIAMS A special meeting of the Board of Directors was called to order by President McGill at 8:30 a.m. Secretary of the District Elaine Boehme called roll: PRESENT: Members: Causey, Nejedly, Pilecki, Williams, McGill ABSENT.- Members: None 2. PUBLIC COMMENTS None. 3. STRATEGIC PLANNING BOARD WORKSHOP Facilitator: Larry Bienati, PhD, Senior Principal of Consultants to Management, Inc. and District Strategic Planning Consultant General Manager Roger Bailey said the District's existing Strategic Plan contains the Goals and Strategies adopted by the Board. These Goals and Strategies provide clear guidance to staff, who uses them to develop Initiatives and Key Performance Indicators to implement the Strategic Plan. The purpose of this workshop was to elicit input from the Board on proposed changes to the District's Vision, Mission, Values and Goals to serve as the basis for the Strategic Plan for the next two fiscal years. Mr. Bailey said the changes proposed by staff and included with the agenda materials were meant to emphasize the `people" side of the District's work in providing a public service, both in terms of delivering and receiving services. Motion passed by unanimous vote of the Board. 4. ANNOUNCEMENTS None. 5. ADJOURNMENT The meeting was adjourned at 10:00 a.m. Michael R.
