Succession Planning Committee (SPC)
• Established in May 2014 under the direction
of General Manager Roger Bailey
• Objective: Develop a formal succession plan
to maintain high service levels and prepare
the District for future retirements and sudden
changes to staffing
• Approximately 30 members

Succession Planning Interviews
1) Purpose: help identify areas of risk due to
potential employee departure and areas of
improvement in the current organizational
structure for meeting minimum qualifications
2) Interviews with all District workgroups
scheduled for mid -July — August
3) Pre - Interview Assessment

2) Staffing Vulnerability Analysis
4) Final Report summarizing the results and
recommendations from the Committee
