Hands on Science SeriesCREATING AN URBAN FARM: FREE Classes for Students 2 Summer Classes per Week for Students Grades 3 -5; 6 -8; 9 -12 Hands -on Experiences Outdoors at CoCo San Sustainable Farm Grades 3 -5 Class is Monday and Wednesday 9 -11 a.m. July 8 - August 17, 2015 Grades 6 -8 Class is Wednesday and Friday 9 -11 a.m. July 8 - August 14, 2015 Grades 9 -12 Class is Tuesday and Thursday 9 a.m. -11 a.m. July 7 - August 13, 2015 (Grades 9 -12 will also have an opportunity to help teach Grades 6 -8 on Weds & Friday) CoCo San Sustainable Farm A Project of: AgLantis (501c -3) Farm is On Imhoff Drive, Martinez, CA Approx. 1 Mile West of Concord Lowe Farm is between Hwy 4 and Imhoff Drive on Central Contra Costa Sanitary District Land Across from County Quarry Across from 5501 Imhoff Drive 5. Every kind of science & engineering happens on a farm. Learn the fundamentals of Urban Farming with Hands -On classes on the farm.
