Grades 3 -5 Class is Monday and Wednesday 9 -11 a.m. July 8 - August 17, 2015
Grades 6 -8 Class is Wednesday and Friday 9 -11 a.m. July 8 - August 14, 2015
Grades 9 -12 Class is Tuesday and Thursday 9 a.m. -11 a.m. July 7 - August 13, 2015
(Grades 9 -12 will also have an opportunity to help teach Grades 6 -8 on Weds & Friday)

Every kind of science & engineering happens on a
farm. Learn the fundamentals of Urban Farming
with Hands -On classes on the farm. Topics include:

• Environment, Conservation, Sustainability
• Safety 1St: Tools and Equipment
• Soil Science, Conservation and Testing
• Water Science, Conservation and Testing
• Fundamentals of Plant Sciences
• Growing Vegetables: Crops and Climate
• Wildlife and Insects: Maintaining Plant Health
• AgroEcology, Permaculture and Food Forests
• The Built World: Construction and Engineering
• Ethnobotany: People, Plants and Culture
