HomeMy WebLinkAbout05.a.1) (Handout) Additional AnnouncementsS.4./ Board Meeting of May 21, 2015 (#a 0wo Vf Additional Written Announcements: RECYCLED WATER c) Retention Payment Received for Concord Landscape Project Grant On Wednesday, May 13, 2015, staff received payment from the California Department of Water Resources (via Bay Area Clean Water Agencies) in the amount of $51,500 for the District's Proposition 84 grant for the Concord Landscape Project. The District has now received the entire $1,030,000 grant amount. LAFCO ACTIVITIES d) Contra Costa Local Area Formation Commission (LAFCO) Continues District Annexation (DA) 186 — Magee Ranch (Danville) At its May 13, 2015 meeting, Contra Costa LAFCO continued a public hearing for DA 186 — Magee Ranch (Danville), a 410 -acre, 69- parcel boundary reorganization with annexations to the District and EBMUD. The public hearing was continued to August 12, 2015 to allow ongoing litigation to be resolved. POPULATION UPDATE e) 2015 District Population Estimate As of January 1, 2015, the estimated population of the District and its contracted sewage treatment service area was approximately 476,400. The next update will be in mid -2016 for January 1, 2016.
