Public Hearing Reimbursement Account Job 6508 — Calmar Vista, Danville March 19, 2015 Earlene Millier Engineering Assistant III Central Contra Costa Sanitary District CCCSD Reimbursement Program Summary • Extensions are installed under written agreement with CCCSD. • The District's reimbursement program allows installers of mainline extensions to recoup a portion of the costs of the extension. • Generally, the total cost of the extension is divided by the number of RUEs likely to connect to the extension. • Connecting parcels pay the reimbursement fee upon connection. The fees are collected by CCCSD and disbursed to the installer. • Fees are set by the Board after a public hearing and are adjusted to account for depreciation and increases in construction costs. They tend to increase slowly over time. • Reimbursement fees expire 20 years after the date of acceptance. He was told the District would not compel him to connect but the County could. This slide will be updated as additional comment comes in. D QUESTIONS? 3/12/2015 2
