2014 P2 Report Highlights
HHW Collection Program
Collected almost 2 million pounds of HHW
Collected over 160 pounds of mercury waste
■ 363,298 feet of fluorescent lamps (up 15 %)
■ 614 thermometers
Collected almost 19,000 pounds of pesticides
■ >8,000 pounds of pyrethroid pesticides
Collected >12,500 pounds of pharmaceuticals
■ Over 62,000 pounds since program inception (2009)
Pretreatment Program
Conducted 1,220 inspections at 882 businesses
Continued implementing our Mandatory Dental
Amalgam Program with 100% compliance
Simplified BMP Permitting Program for Vehicle
Service Facilities (copper & lead tiered limits)
Community Outreach � ,
Included several P2 and "green" articles in the
3 issues of the Pipeline mailed to all customers
Reached almost 6,500 students through our
student education programs
