Petit — Engineering Department Director Counsel for the District General Manager ISSUE: A resolution of the Board of Directors is required to accept deeds or grants conveying any real estate interest to the District and to record the documents (Govt. Code §27281). RECOMMENDATION: Accept the offers of dedication and authorize staff to record the documents. FINANCIAL IMPACTS: The new easements were acquired at no cost to the District. ALTERNATIVES /CONSIDERATIONS: None. BACKGROUND: The Board of Directors regularly accepts easements from private developers that have installed sewers. A resolution is required to accept an offer of dedication from Pulte Home Corporation for easements lying on Subdivision 9265, Job 6494, Parcel 2, within the City of Orinda; also located in the City of Orinda an offer of dedication from C.J. La Montagne and Judith La Montagne for easements lying in the map of Minor Subdivision MS505 -951, Job 6473, Parcel 2; an offer of dedication from Oak Grove Group, LLC. for an easement lying on the map of Subdivision 9233, Job 6475, Parcel 3, within the City of Walnut Creek; an offer of dedication from Shapell Industries, Inc., for easements lying within the Subdivision 9303, Job 6541, Parcel 2, within Gale Ranch, City of San Ramon; and an offer of dedication from Arbor View Estates, LLC., for easements lying within the Subdivision 9174, Job 6542, Parcel 2, in the Lafayette area. Staff has reviewed the subdivisions and the easement documents and determined that they are compliant with District standards.
