Bailey Counsel for the District General Manager ISSUE: A resolution of the Board of Directors is required to accept deeds or grants conveying any real estate interest to the District and to record the document (Govt. Code §27281). RECOMMENDATION: Accept the offers of dedication from various owners shown on Exhibit A and authorize staff to record the documents. FINANCIAL IMPACTS: The new easements were acquired at no cost to the District. ALTERNATIVES /CONSIDERATIONS: None. BACKGROUND: The Board of Directors historically accepts easements by resolution. The recommended resolutions will accept easements shown on the maps of Subdivisions 8101, 9318, 9357, and MS509 -87 required for recent public sewer extensions (See Exhibits A and B). Staff has reviewed the subdivision maps and determined that they are in compliance with District standards. RECOMMENDED BOARD ACTION: Adopt four resolutions accepting the individual offers of dedication from the property owners identified in Exhibit A.
