Provided to Napa Sanitation District
On Tuesday, August 26, 2014, the District received a request from Napa Sanitation
District to provide assistance with determining the extent of damage to their collection
system after the recent earthquake. Central San dispatched a Closed Circuit TV truck
and crew to Napa the next day. Central San crews televised 68 line segments for a total
footage of 17,000 linear feet. The work was completed in three days by Paul Amaral,
Greg Collins, Chris Johnsen and Steve Sauter of Central San's Collection System
Operations (CSO) staff. Below is a thank you letter received this week from Napa San:
1 would like to extend my gratitude for the assistance with the CCTV work
that your agency helped us with last week. Your crews were able to inspect
some of the larger clay mains in our system that were susceptible to
damage in the earthquake. If you ever have a need for assistance in the
future, please don't hesitate to contact us.... 1 will be contacting Steve
Sauter to thank him and his crews.
Sincerely,
Todd Herrick
