EPA/SWRCB Termination Agreement
As a condition of the settlement, due to the "major underutilization
of the Phase II facilities, CCCSD agreed to:
• "Maintain in operable condition all Phase 11 facilities until January 1,
2000;
• Continue to study and promote the cost - effective use of reclaimed water
within its service area;
• Within two years after the date of full execution of the settlement
agreement, develop and submit a program to the reasonable
satisfaction of EPA and SWRCB for additional utilization of Phase II
facilities. The goal of the program to be developed will be the eventual
full, cost effective utilization of Phase II facilities."
