subject: ADOPT A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A
QUITCLAIM DEED FOR A PROPERTY LOCATED IN WALNUT CREEK,
AND AUTHORIZING THE RECORDING OF THE QUITCLAIM DEED

ISSUE: A resolution of the Board of Directors is required to execute a quitclaim deed
and to record the document.
RECOMMENDATION: Adopt a resolution authorizing the execution of a quitclaim
deed, and authorizing staff to record the document with the Contra Costa County
Recorder.
FINANCIAL IMPACTS: None. The property owners have paid application and
quitclaim fees to the District to cover staff time and recording fees.
ALTERNATIVES /CONSIDERATIONS: None.
BACKGROUND: A sanitary sewer easement within Lot 7 of the final map of
Subdivision 4992 was offered for dedication to the District in 1987. The easement was
never used for sewer construction and the property owners have requested that the
District quitclaim the easement. District staff has reviewed the easement and has
concluded that it is improbable that any other parcel would require construction of a
sewer through this easement and that it is appropriate to quitclaim the sewer easement
to the property owner.
Board action is required to execute a quitclaim deed to the owners of the lot.
RECOMMENDED BOARD ACTION: Adopt a resolution: (1) authorizing the execution
of a quitclaim deed related to 1200 Snyder Lane, Walnut Creek; and, (2) authorizing
staff to record the document with the Contra Costa County Recorder.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CENTRAL CONTRA COSTA SANITARY DISTRICT
EXECUTING AND RECORDING A QUITCLAIM DEED
RELATED TO 1200 SNYDER LANE IN WALNUT CREEK
BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors of the Central Contra Costa Sanitary District
(District) as follows:
THAT the District hereby authorized to execute a Quitclaim Deed with the following property
owners related to the property located at 1200 Snyder Lane, Walnut Creek:
Assessor's Parcel No.: 139 - 040 -018 -0
Property Owners: Donald J. Bruzzone and Donna L. Bruzzone
Site Address: 1200 Snyder Lane, Walnut Creek
THAT the President of the Board of Directors and the Secretary of the District are hereby
authorized to execute said document for and on behalf of the District; and
THAT staff is authorized to record the documents in the office of the Recorder of Contra
Costa County.
