July 1 Environmental and Development- Related Rates &Charges • Recommended Rates and Charges: — Follows recent approach of annual adjustment for changes in salaries, benefits and overhead. • 53 of 81 fees would increase • Most increases are about 3% • Additional revenue from increased fees would be modest. S� Customer Outreach • Legal Notices published and posted • Approximately 235 reports were mailed to interested stakeholders: — BIA Bay Area (formerly Home Builders Ass'n.) — Developers, Engineers, Contractors and Business Owners — Reports handed out at Permit Counter — One phone call received. • Informational meeting for stakeholders was held — Tuesday -April 29, 2014 at 11 am — No customers attended Elm-1-C.05, o EM-os � Recommendation • Adopt Ordinance 280 including the findings listed in the position paper and in the text of the ordinance.
