Consistent with District Code Title 6 Collection of Fees and Charges, Chapter 12, Capacity Fee Program, Section 0.30(D)1 Time for Payment and Penalties for Delinquent Payments. • Fees for newly developed parcels are still collected at permit issuance. 5/15/2014 2 Procedural Changes (Cont.) • Permit and Application Aging • Permits without activity for 6 months can be extended for up to 2 six -month periods • Applicant notified in writing • First 6 -month extension provided at no charge • Applications are followed up on after 18 months to determine project status • If determined project has been cancelled or withdrawn, CCCSD application is closed Outreach: Individual Meetings • 9 meetings with local jurisdictions • Started in 2012 and are on -going • Led to positive process improvements • Open lines of communication • Change in building permit plan review process • Continued process improvement 5/15/2014 3 Outreach: Sewer Summit • Wednesday, May 21, 2014 • Invitations sent to all agencies • 30+ RSVP's received • Provide an open forum to increase lines of communication • Topics to be covered include: • Early interaction in planning process • Sewer Inspections • Wastewater Pretreatment Questions? 5/15/2014 II
