SUBJECT: AMMENDMENT TO FY2014 -15 STAFFING PLAN.
The Administration Committee reviewed and recommended for Board approval the
Fiscal Year (FY) 2014 -15 Staffing Plan during their March 11, 2014 meeting. Since
that time, staff has re- evaluated a request and an amendment to the staffing plan is
necessary.
The Administration Department had requested the establishment, addition, and the
authorization to fill an Internal Auditor position at salary level S67 ($6,423 - $7,777).
After further consideration, staff is recommending that the classification of Internal
Auditor be set at S70 ($6,899 - $8,352). This would represent a 7.5% increase over
what was originally proposed in the base salary and this amendment would increase
the total maximum annual cost of the FY2014 -15 staffing plan by $13,790.
The FY 2014 -15 staffing plan inclusive of this amendment is scheduled for Board
approval on April 3, 2014. Should this amendment not be approved by the
Administration Committee, the item will be removed from the April 3, 2014 Board
agenda during the meeting.
Staff will be available to answer any questions or provide clarification during the
meeting.
