STAFF UPDATE
a) Recent Staff Promotion
Gregory St. John has been promoted to Land Surveyor in the Engineering Department —
Environmental Services Division effective December 12, 2013.
ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES UPDATE
b) District Annexation 168C — Alhambra Valley
District Annexation (DA) 168C proposed the annexation of eight parcels that are outside
the County's Urban Limit Line. At its December 11, 2013 meeting, the Contra Costa Local
Agency Formation Commission (LAFCO) gave partial approval to this proposal. Four of
the parcels, that were already developed with single - family residences, were annexed to
the District. Three of these properties have been receiving District sewer service since
2008 through Out -of- Agency Service Agreements. Consideration of annexing the
remaining four undeveloped properties was indefinitely continued until the property
owners made further progress through the County's development approval process.
