Background
• One set of Final Assessments and
Reimbursement Fees to be considered for
approval:
— District Project 6523 — St. Mary's Road
• Public Hearing was set on June 20, 2013
• Affected Parties were notified by mail on July 3,
2013
• Notice of Hearing advertised in the Contra Costa
Times and San Ramon Valley Times on July 11
and July 18, 2013

Final Assessments
• Total Project Cost = $386,660
• Owners of six properties are initial participants.
• The City of Lafayette is paying two shares for
two connections.
• Owners of seven properties are non - participants
subject to paying a reimbursement fee upon
connection.
— Two private owners, the City of Lafayette, and CCCSD
are covering the costs of the non - participants and will
share the paid reimbursement fees proportionately.

Participant Payment Options
• Pay CCCSD the assessment in full by
August 23, 2013.
• Begin financing the assessment on the County
Property Tax Roll at 6% annual interest for up to
10 years.
• No pre - payment penalty for paying off financed
amount before 10 years.
• City of Lafayette will be invoiced directly and, by
agreement, must pay in full within 30 days.

(a) The reimbursement fees will be adjusted annually based on the amount of
the average Local Agency Investment fund ( "LAIF") yield for the year to
cover reflect the District's lost investment opportunity.
Recommendation
• Conduct public hearing.
• Confirm and levy final assessments for St. Mary's
Road CAD No. 2011 -1.
• Direct that outstanding 2013 -14 Assessments be
collected on the County Property Tax Roll.
• Adopt an ordinance establishing the reimbursement
fees for St. Mary's Road CAD No. 2011 -1.
• 4 yes votes are necessary.
