At least five benefiting properties (7 properties) 2. At least 60% of properties developed (100 %) 3. At least five benefiting properties (7 properties) 2. At least 60% of properties developed (100 %) 3. Two or fewer dwellings on each property (one dwelling/property) IV 2 Costs Ineligible for CAD Financing • Capacity and Permit fees: - $6,800 - $5,797 Capacity Fee may be financed separately. through Septic Conversion Program. • Private Side Sewer: $5,000 to $10,000, depending on length and restoration • Septic Tank Abandonment: - $1,500 • Costs that must be paid upfront when the home is connected range from $13,300 to $18,300. Source of Funds for Proposed Smith Road CAD • Staff recommends using the Sewer Construction Fund to finance the proposed Smith Road CAD Project. • Interest at 6% APR will generate - $97,000, if all assessments are financed over 10 years. 3 Smith Road CAD. Proposition 218 Ballot Tabulation • An affirmative response on the majority of ballots cast are necessary if the CAD is to be formed. • The owners of all seven of the properties submitted votes. • All seven votes were affirmative: PASSED. Staff Recommendation • Conduct a public hearing. • Approve formation of the proposed Smith Road CAD No. 2012 -1. • Adopt two resolutions. rd
