Vassall Alm Ann Farrell, General Manager ISSUE: The District's draft Fiscal Year (FY) 2012 -13 Operations and Maintenance, Debt Service and Self- Insurance Fund Budgets have been prepared by staff. A date for public hearing to receive comments on the budgets should be set. RECOMMENDATION: Set a public hearing on June 7, 2012 to receive public comment on the draft FY 2012 -13 Operations and Maintenance, Debt Service and Self- Insurance Fund Budgets. FINANCIAL IMPACTS: None related to this action. ALTERNATIVES /CONSIDERATIONS: None. BACKGROUND: The Operations and Maintenance Budget, which will be submitted for initial review by the Board of Directors on May 17, 2012, includes the previously approved Sewer Service Charge rate increase of $30 for FY 2012 -13, for a total charge of $371. Approval and adoption of the FY 2012 -13 Operations and Maintenance Budget, Debt Service Fund Budget and Self- Insurance Fund Budget is scheduled for the Board meeting on June 7, 2012. RECOMMENDED BOARD ACTION: Set June 7, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. as the date and time for a public hearing to receive comments on the draft FY 2012 -13 Operations and Maintenance Budget, Debt Service Fund Budget and Self- Insurance Fund Budget.
