This attached list includes all District fee -owned properties and identifies those parcels that may be available for revenue - generating real property agreements. The list was prepared as a tool for the Real Estate Committee and the full Board. The inventory of the District's real estate assets reveals that property which is readily available for a secondary income producing use is being utilized as such. Vacant land or right of way exists that may be available for a secondary use if an appropriate lessee were available. These sites tend to be small or have too much of a restrictive use to be marketed as available land. The list contains the following information for each property according to column heading: APN — The Assessors Parcel Number for the property. Street — The street location. City — The city the property is located in. Area — Area in acres. Primary Use — Denotes the primary purposes for which the property was acquired. Secondary Use — Denotes a second use for the property (e. g., lease, license, etc.). If the District has an existing lease or license related to this property it will be identified here. Central Contra Costa Sanitary District General Manager Report Page 2 of 2 Leasable — If the property is leasable it will be denoted in this column. Department — Identifies which Department is taking the lead in managing /administering the lease or license. Lease vs. License: A lease is typically used where land /buildings are available for long term income producing agreements that do not unreasonably impact District facilities or operations. A License, which is revocable, is used in situations where a secondary use is permitted over District facilities (usually a sewer) and the District may have a compelling need to remove or terminate the agreement immediately to repair or access its facilities.
