ADJOURNMENT * Attachment A to, Recycled Paper Central Contra Costa Sanitary District March 30, 2007 TO: BOARD BUDGET AND FINANCE COMMITTEE FROM: RANDALL MUSGRA VES DEBBIE RATCLIFF SUBJECT: September 19, 2007 Finance Committee Meeting There was one outstanding question from the last Board Budget and Finance Committee meeting which required additional staff research. The question and answer is provided below: 1. 167492 - Alliant Insurance Service - Who is covered by this Fiduciary Insurance? This $1 million insurance policy, with a $5,000 retention, provides coverage for lawsuits associated with the District's Deferred Compensation Plan and covers all five Board members, the Controller, and the four Deferred Compensation Committee members. In addition, the District purchases Errors and Omission insurance of $15 million, with a $1 million retention, as part of the General Liability policy. This insurance covers both Board members and District staff.
