CALL MEETING TO ORDER Acting Chair Lucey called the meeting to order at 3 p.m. 2. PUBLIC COMMENTS None. 3. OLD BUSINESS None. 4. CLAIMS MANAGEMENT a. Review open claims or potential claims. COMMITTEE ACTION: There were no new claims. All outstanding claims (except land subsidence claims) have been resolved. Staff filed a claim against Mr. Paul Garvey for Small Claims Court, as the Committee and Board directed (approximately $1,271.24). 5. REPORTS/ANNOUNCEMENTS a. Review July Financial Statements (Item 4.b. on Board Agenda). COMMITTEE ACTION: The Committee recommended approval of the July Financial Statements. * Recycled Paper Budget and Finance Committee September 19, 2007 Page 2 b. Note Investment Policy Position Paper (Item 7.a. on Board Agenda). COMMITTEE ACTION: The Committee recommended approval of the revised investment policy. 6. REVIEW EXPENDITURES COMMITTEE ACTION: There was one outstanding question regarding Fiduciary Liability Insurance. 7. ADJOURNMENT - at 3:30 p.m.
