1. CALL MEETING TO ORDER
Chair McGill called the meeting to order at 3:00 p.m.
2. PUBLIC COMMENTS
None.
3. OLD BUSINESS
a. Review outstanding question regarding Monterey Mechanical and the
natural gas repair costs.
The Committee discussed the cost of the natural gas line repair.
4. CLAIMS MANAGEMENT
Discussed one new claim that was an overflow at the home of Carolyn Cain
located at 6 Oak Knoll Loop in Walnut Creek. The home had an overflow
device that limited the spill to the outside of the house. The claim is
approximately $2,000 for clean up costs.

5. REPORTS/ANNOUNCEMENTS
a. Review Position Paper on Computer Loan Program (Item 4.k. in Board
Packet).
The Committee recommends approval to continue the Employee
Computer Loan Program for another year.
b. Review Position Paper on Public Notice in support of Appropriations Limit
(Item 4.1. in Board Packet).
The Committee recommends approval to publish a public notice in
support of the Appropriations Limit for 2007-2008.
c. Review June 30, 2007 Financial Statements (Item 4.b. in Board Packet).
Reviewed period 12 year end financial statements in detail.
6. REVIEW EXPENDITURES
There were no outstanding questions regarding expenditures.
7. CLOSED SESSION
Significant exposure to litigation pursuant to Government Code Section
54956.9(b) - one potential case.
Closed session held.
8. ADJOURNMENT - at 4 p.m.
