June 4, 2007 Finance Committee Meeting
The following question was outstanding from the prior Board Budget and Finance
Committee meeting. The question and response is provided below:

Does Toyota provide forklift training for District employees?
There is one forklift at CSO that was purchased from Toyota. Most of the others
were purchased from Kalmar/AC. Neither company provides free training.
Kalmar/AC does provide three-year refresher training on an annual basis. This is
a three-hour class and the cost is $85 per participant. Approximately 20
employees are trained every year for a cost of $1700.
