Receive Association of Metropolitan Sewerage Agencies (AM SA) Gold
Award recognizing CCCSD's outstanding wastewater treatment efforts in
achieving 100 percent compliance with National Pollutant Discharge
Elimination System (NPDES) permit during calendar year 2000

BOARD ACTION:
Received AM SA Gold Award recognizing CCCSD's outstanding
wastewater treatment efforts in achieving 100 percent
compliance with NPDES permit during calendar year 2000, the
third consecutive year the District has received this award;
commended staff on this very significant team effort and
particularly recognized the contributions of the Laboratory,
Operations, and Maintenance

Receive Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting

CONSENT CALENDAR:
Received Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial
Reporting for the CCCSD Comprehensive Annual Financial
Report for Fiscal Year ended June 30, 2000; commended the
Finance and Accounting Division on receipt of this prestigious
award for the District's first Comprehensive Annual Financial
Report covering ten years of historical and financial data
Staff recommends the following:
Accept the contract work for the Collection Systems Renovations, District
Project No. 5421, in Walnut Creek and Orinda, and authorize the filing of the
Notice of Completion

Accept the contract work for the Elevated Work Platforms Project, District
Project No. 6132, and authorize filing of the Notice of Completion
Accept the contract work for the Standby Power Supplemental Cooling
Project, District Project 6138, and authorize filing of the Notice of
Completion

Establish September 20, 2001, as the date for a public hearing to consider
the establishment of the Angelo Street/EI Sombro Contractual Assessment
District No. 2000-3 (Resolution No. 2001-109)

ENGINEERING:
a.
Authorize the General Manager to execute reconveyance documents for a
promissory note and deed of trust from Claude B. Smith for connection of
1010 Scots Lane, Walnut Creek to the District's public sewer system
