1. CALL MEETING TO ORDER
Chair McGill called the meeting to order at 3 p.m.
2. PUBLIC COMMENTS
None.
3. OLD BUSINESS
a. Question regarding Porter Warner Industries was reviewed. No further
action was requested.
COMMITTEE ACTION: No action was taken.
b. Question regarding partial CAD reimbursements was reviewed. No further
action was requested.
COMMITTEE ACTION: No action was taken.
4. CLAIMS MANAGEMENT
a. Review new claim in Lafayette.
COMMITTEE ACTION: One new claim at 3611 Walnut Street in
Lafayette was reviewed. A small overflow occurred into a finished

basement suspected to be caused by a blockage in a District pipe.
The claim is estimated to be less than $2,500. No action was taken by
the committee.
b. Director of Administration Randall Musgraves announced that the
District has received a summary claim from Kaiser Permanente
Hospital in Walnut Creek with a preliminary estimate of $316,334.07.
Staff is waiting for detail supporting documentation in order to
process the claim.
5. REPORTS/ANNOUNCEMENTS
a. Review March 2008 Financial Statements
COMMITTEE ACTION: March 2008 financial statements were
reviewed and the Committee recommends Board approval.
b. Discuss process for review and approval of Board Member conference
attendance
COMMITTEE ACTION: The approval process for Board travel was
discussed. Staff will prepare a draft position paper that will be
brought back to the next Committee meeting for consideration.
6. REVIEW EXPENDITURES
COMMITTEE ACTION: Recommended Board approval of expenditures.
7. ADJOURNMENT - 4:00 p.m.
