The District Board of Central Contra Costa Sanitary District convened
in a Regular Session at its regular place of meeting located at 1250
Springbrook Road, 1¡lalnut Creek, County of Contra Costa, State of California,
on July 1,1965, at 8:00 o'clock P.M.
The meeting was called to order by President 11i tchell.

At the suggestion of President. Hitchell, it was moved by Member Gibbs,
seconded by Member Rustigian, that the Minutes of the May 20, 1965, meeting
be amended as follo't<Ts:
Under "n. HEARINGS, LOCAL TI-lPROVE}1ENT DISTRICT NO. 1111, SCJŒDTJIJE5",
the following paragraph shall be deleted:
"President Mitchell stated that the decision to deny their request for
only one unit of assessment had been decided at a previous meeting."
And in its place shall be added:
"President Hi tchell asked the Board Hembers whether any wished to re-
consider their conclusions determined in discussions at a prior Board
Hearing.

Gentlemen:
I am acquainted with the sanitary sewerage pro,ject which YOll propose
to undertake pursuant to special assessment hond proceedings, or other
appropriate proceedings, for sewering the area shown on the map entitled
Schedule 1, Vicinity Map, Local Improvement District 44, June 2, 1965, and
the boundary of 1,rhich is described in a document entitled Local Improvement
District No. ld.J., Schedule 1, dated June 2, 1965, both of which are on rile
with the Secretary of the District Board of the Central Contra Costa
Sanitary District.
I recorn.'11end, as necessary as a health measure, that you unàert8,ke Dro-
ceedings pursuant to appropriate special assessment and assessment 'hond acts
of this State, or other appropriate proceedings, as you shall determine, for
the construction of said improvements and for assessing or taxing the
properties to be benefited there~y. This recommendation extends to such
changes and modifications therin as you shall find to be proper or
advisable, in the manner provided by law.

Line Construction Co., contractor for Line E, for the excellent manner

President Mitchell requested that a letter to the contrBctor,
commending him for his work, be prepared for his signature át the next
meeting.

Mr. Horstkotte, District Manager-Engineer, recommended that the bill
from Hr. Elvin ,T. Gillette in the sum of $10.00 be paid, which was for
rotoyating his property as a result of work in an easement he granted to
the District in Local Improvement District lb. 43.
It was moved by Member Gibbs, seconded by l~mber Rustigian, that
$10.00 be paid Mr. Elvin J. Gillette for rotovating his easement area as

Board the problem of obtaining easements and the question of compensation
for them.

progressing in an excellent manner.

Hr. Horstkotte reported that St. l'Idry'3 College is now connected to
the District system.
TREATr,1ENT PLANT ENLARGEl1ENT - 19611
l~. Horstkotte reported that there were a few odds and end~ to be
finished at the Treatment Plant.
APPLICATION FOR FEDERAL FUt~S
1-11'. Horstkotte reported that the application had been completed for
Federal Funds for the research and development work at the Treatment Plant.
1965-66 BUDGET
The Members of the District Board briefly discussed future financing
of the District and the 1965-66 Eùdget submitted.
