MINUTES OF A SPECIAL MEETING
OF THE DISTRICT BOARD
CENTRAL CONTRA COSTA SANITARY DISTRICT
HELD OCTOBER 8, 1964
The District Board of Central Contra Costa Sanitary District convened
in a Special Session at its regular place of meeting located at 1250
Springbrook Road, 'tJalnut Creek, County of Contra Costa, State of California,
on October 8,1964, at 8:00 o'clock P.ri.
The meeting was called to order by President Mitchell.

Continued to October lS, 1964.
III.
SPECIAL MEETING
President Mitchell stated that the Special Meeting was called to consider
filling the vacancy of Mr. Arthur W. Bowman whose term as a Member of the
District Board expires in September, 1966.
Members Gibbs and Roemer stated that they haò given the problem considerable
thought and had discussed the vacancy with people who had indicated an interest.
RESOIDTION NO. 14S5, A RESOLUTION APPOINTING GEORGE A. RUSTIGIAN AS A
MEl'-1BER OF THE DISTRICT BOARD OF THE CENTRAL CONTRA COSTA SANITARY DISTRICT
After discussion, it Has moved by l1ember Gibbs, seconded by Hember Fisher,
that Resolution No. IllS) be adopted. Carried by the following vote:

l'1ember Fisher stated that as a result of unexpected pressure of business
he finds it will be necessary for him to resign as a Member of the District
Board and would like it to be effective as of this date.
RESOLUTION NO. 14S6~ RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE RESIGNATION OF RAYMOND W.
FISHER, JR. AND EXP SING THE BOARD MEMBERS' REGRETS AND COID1ENDING HIM
FOR HIS VALUED SERVICE AS A MEMBER OF THE DISTRICT BOARD
It was moved by Hember Roemer, seconded by Hember Gibbs, that Resolution
No. 1456 be adopted. Carried by the following vote:
