Home My WebLink AboutBOARD MINUTES 02-05-48 76 MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE SANITARY BOARD OF CENTRAL CONTRA COSTA SANITARY DISTRICT HELD FEBRUARY 5. 1948 The Sanitary Board of the Central Contra Costa Sanitary Dist- rict convened in regular session at its regular place of meeting located at 1335 Commercial Lane, in the City of Walnut Creek, County of Contra Costa, State of California, on the 5th day of February, 1948, at the hour of 8:00 p.m. The meeting was called to order by President Weill. The following roll was called: PRESENT: Directors Johnson, Smitten, Toland, Wadsworth and Weill. ABSENT: None READING OF MINUTES It was moved by Director Smitten, seconded by Director Tol- and that the reading of the Minutes of the previous meeting be waived, and be approved as entered. Carried unanimously. BALANCE OF MORAGA COMPANY FUND Mr. Brailsford received a check in the amount of $91,825.00 which represents the balance of the Moraga Company money as per letter of February 2,1948 from the Contra Costa County Title Company. The check was handed to the Secretary for deposit in the Running Expense Fund of the District. RIGHT OF WAY AGENT FOR SECTION V It was moved by Director Johnson, seconded by Director Smitten that Mr. Lee J. Rothgery be appointed as right of way agent to secure easements for Section V, main trunk sewer from Lafayette to Moraga. Carried unanimously. SECURING FUTURE TITLE REPORTS It was moved by Director Johnson, seconded by Director Smitten that the Board authorize the engineer to secure all future title reports from the Contra Costa County Title Company for rights of way for main trunk sewers and improvement districts. Carried unanimously. 02 05 48 71 DEED OF DEDICATION - I. C. TAYLOR The following resolution was offered by Director Wadsworth, seconded by Director Toland: RESOLUTION NO. 122 WHEREAS, I. C. TAYLOR and ELIZA J. TAYLOR, for value received, have granted a Deed of Dedication for sewer easement of all that certain real property situate in the County of Contra Costa, State of California, described as follows: Portion of Lot 1, as designated on the map entitled "Map of the Rancho El Sobrante accompanying and form- ing a part of the Final Report of the Referees in Partition of said Rancho", which map was filed in the office of the Recorder of the County of Contra Costa, State of California, on March 14, 1910, described as follows: A strip of land 10 feet in width, lying parallel with and 3 feet northeasterly measured at right angles, and parallel with and 7 feet southwesterly measured at right angles from the following described line: Beginning on the west line of the parcel of land des- cribed in the deed from R. C. Neuendorffer, guardian, to I. C. Taylor, dated September 6, 1938 and recorded September 12, 1938 in Volume 473 of Official Records, at page 409, being also the east line of Lot 4, as des- ignated on the map entitled "Monte Vista, Contra Costa County, Californiall, which map was filed in the office of the Recorder of the County of Contra Costa, State of California, on August 16, 1936 in Volume 22 of Maps, at page 637, distant thereon N 0 041 25" W, 69.28 feet from the southeast corner of said Lot 4; thence from said point of beginning S 430 331 55" E, 322.04 feet to the north line of the parcel of land described in the deed from R. C. Neuendorffer, guardian, to State of California, dated February 17, 1936 and recorded Sept- ember 14, 1936 in Volume 418 of Official Records, at page 242. The northwesterly terminus of said strip of land being the east line of said Lot 4 and the south- easterly terminus thereof being the north line of said State of California parcel (418 OR 242). Said Deed of Dedication for sewer easement together with the right of ingress thereto and egress therefrom to be used by the Central Contra Costa Sanitary District for the purpose of con- structing, laying, maintaining and operating sewer pipes therein and thereupon together with appurtenances and appliances. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that said Deed of Dedication be, and same is hereby accepted, and the Recorder of Contra Costa County be, and he is hereby authorized and directed to record said deed. PASSED AND ADOPTED this 5th day of February, 1947 by the following vote: AYES: Directors Johnson, Smitten, Toland, Wadsworth and Weill. NOES: None ABSENT: None Countersigned: /s/ Lawson H.
