"DISTRICT BOARD CENTRAL CONTRA COSTA SANITARY DmTRlCT HELD SEPTEMBER 21, 1961 The District Board or Central Contra Costa Sanitary District convened in an Adjourned Regular Session at its regular place of meeting located at 1250 Springbrook Road, Walnut Creek, County of Contra Costa, State of California, on September 21,1961, at 8:00 o'clock P.M. The meeting was called to order by President Mitchell. ~ I. ROLL CALL PRESENT: Members: Gibbs, Roemer, Sa1fingere, Bowman and Mitchell AæENT : Members: None II. APPROV At OF MINUTES The Minutes of the meeting of September 7, 1961, were approved as presented. III. APPROVAL OF BILlS None. IV. BIœ None. V. OLD BUSINESS REQUEST OF PACD'IC GAS & ELØJTRIC COMPANY FOR EASEMENT IN PORTION OF OLD SACRAMENTO NORrHERN RAIDfAY RIGHT OF WAY 11 LAFAIET'lJ: -. MORAGA ÀÌæA ~ Continued to October 5,1961. VI. NEW BUS !NESS CLAIM OF DAVID YESZIN Letter from The Fund recommending payment of the David Yeszin claim in the amount of $27.45, as a result of sewer overflowing into his home, was presented. It was moved by Member Roemer, seconded by Member Bowman, that the claim cr David Yeszin in the sum of $27.45, as a result or sewer overflowing into his home, be paid after receipt of Release signed by him. Carried by the following vote: .A.YIS: Members: Gibbs, Roemer, Sa1fingere, Bowman and Hi tchel1 NOES: Members: None ABSENT : Members: None Member Roemer suggested that the staff notify each Board Member the next time a sewer overflows into a home, as a result of a stoppage, and causes sericus damage, so that these Directors who wish may make a call at the home to see the extent of the damage. CORRESPONDENCE FROM MR. JOHN .A. NEJEDU, DISTRICT ATTORNEYli HE FORMATION OF ASSESSMENT DlliTHICT FOR RANCHO SAN RAMO HEIGHTS, DANVILIE ~ Letter from Mr. John A. Nejedly, District Attorney, was presented. President Mitchell suggested that the matter be continued to the next meeting in order to give the staff time for further investigation and recom- mendation. u~ ;Gl ól '123 Mr. Horstkotte, District Manager-Engineer, stated that he am Mr. Bobn, Counsel for the District, would arrange a meeting with Mr. Nejedly for more detailed inf'ormation. He also stated he would have a repre- sentative from the area attend the next meeting. Continued to October 5,1961. VII. REPORTS ~ DISTRICT MANAGER-ENG INEER LINE A :¡yæON Mr. Horstkotte, District Manager-Engineer, reported that the syphon on Line A was completed and the several remaining sections, to be installed arter East Bay Municipal Utility District is finished, should be completed by the middle of October. COUNSEL FOR THE D1STRICT BILL FRœ CARISON, COLLINS ~ GORDON AND BOW HE HOBBS SHOBE CASE Mr. Bohn, Counsel for the District, reported that the District would be receiving a bill from Carlson, Collins, Gordon and Bold in the sum of $500.00 ror their services in the Hobbs' Shore case (M. Miller Co. Litiga- tion), as previously authorized by the Board. VIII. ADJOOBJIŒNT At 8:20 01 clock P.M., the meeting was adjourned by President Mitchell to October 5,1961. ~.
