MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING
OF THE DISTRICT BOARD OF CENTRAL
CONTRA COSTA SANITARY DISTRICT HELD ON
JULY 6. 1950
The District BoRra of Central Contra Costa Sanitary District
convened in regular sessiøn at its regular place of meeting located
at 1822 Mt. Diablo Boulevard, in the City of Walnut Creek, County
of Contra Costa, State of California, on July 6, 1950 at the hour
of 8:00 o'olock p.m.
The meeting was called to order by President Wadsworth and the
following roll was called:

READING OF I-lINUTES OF P~EVIOUS l"iEETING
The Minutes of the previous meeting were read and were approved
as entered.
PETITION FROM PROPERT'i OWNE.R3 ON PRICE LANE
LOCAL IÄPROVÐ~ENT DISTRICT NO. 19
. After adjournment of the meeting of June 29,1950, property owners
presented a petition requesting exclusion of Price Lane from Local
Illi:~rovement District No. 19. The following reply was directed to the
property owners on Price Lane, addressed to Mr. O. H. vfuiteneck:

No one appeared at the meeting in support of the petition. ~iember
JohDson stated thRt he had tal~ed with Messrs. NewcombeI' and W~iteneck
who informed him that they and Mr. Price had lost interested in the
rsauest for exclusion.
STAI'EHENT FROB COUNTY HEALTH DEPAR-rI.:ENT
Mr. r-icl,io!'row, speaking for the COlmty Health Department, stated
thRt that Department had no wish to extend or modify any boundaries
presented by the Sanitary District; they felt the boundaries fixed
by the District for Local Improvement Districts were satisfactory.

Letters requesting sewer installation from Messrs. H. W. Pills-
bury, John W. McFarland, and James R. Seaman, President of Sleepy
Hollow Improvement Association were read. A Letter from the County
Health Department requesting early sewer installation was read.

It was moved by Member Johnson, seconded by Member Smitten,
and unanimously carried, that the Board authorize the Engineer to
make preliminary investigation and survey of the area to be known
as Local Improvement District No. 22.
USE OF BOTELHO ISLAND BRIDGE BY
MACDONALD PRODUCTS CO~~ANY
Th~ Attorney presented written opinion to the Board that the
use of the Botelho Island Bridge may properly be extended.
It was moved by Member Johnson, seconded by Member Toland, and
unanimously carried that the Board authorize the Manager to enter
into an agreement with MacDonald Products Company in accordance
with the terms contained in their letter of June 29, 1950.
FINAL INCIDENTAL EXPENSES FOR
LOCAL D1PROVEMENT DISTRICT NO.8
It was moved by Member Cornwall, seconded by Member Toland, and
unanimously carried, that $44,059.53 received from John L. Mason,
said sum representing the incidental expenses incurred and not pre-
viously reimbursed to the Sanitary District, and the estimated
balance of incidental expenses to be further incurred, at the date
of delivery of the warrant and assessment on Local Improvement
District No.8, which sum was paid to said John L. Mason upon
delivery of said warrant and assessment, be disbursed as approved
by the District Manager after receipt of bills duly rendered ~s
follows:
$1,455.69 for legal services for Local Improvement District
No.8 to be paid pursuant to contract therefor as
follows:

be deposited to the credit of the Running Expense
Fund of Central Contra Costa Sanitary District to
reimburse said fund for monies heretofqre advanced
for incidental expenses incurred by the Sanitary
District for Local Improvement District No. a and
for which .theSanitary District has not previously
received payment, and to pay further costs for
incidental expenses for Local Improvement District
No.8 as bills for such expenses are received and
authorized for payment by the District Board after
approval by the District Manager and audit by the
Board.
The President and Secretary are hereby authorized and directed
to execute the necessary warran~s to pay the charges above men-
tioned.

Mason, said sum representing the incidental exuenses incurred and
not previously reimbursed to the Sanitary District, and the est-
imated balance of incidental expenses to be further incurred, at
the date of delivery of the warrant and assessment on Local Im-
