MINUTES OF AN ADJOURNED MEETING OF THE
DISTRICT BOARD OF CENTRAL CONTRA COSTA
SANITARY DISTRICT HELD MARCH 30. 1950
The District Board of Central Contra Costa Sanitary District
convened in adjourned session at its regular place of meeting
located at 1822 Mt. Diablo Boulevard, in the City of Walnut Creek,
County of Contra Costa, State of California on March 30,1950 at
8:00 o'c1ock p.m. .
The meeting was called to order by Acting President Toland and
the following roll was called:

The President of the Board advised the bidders that award of
bid for the construction of Main Trunk Section VII and Moraga Pump
Station I would be delayed until April 6, 1950.
HEARING PROTESTS AGAINST
LOCAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT No.4
Chairman Toland informed the protestants that the names of
persons who had written protests would be read, and that the hear-
ing would be continued one week to April 6, 1950 for final deter-
mination.
. The Engineer explained the method of assessment and payment.
The Secretary read the following names of protestants:

Mr. Dailey withdrew his protest after assurance that the ditch
on his property would be filled in.

Chairman Toland continued the hearing to 8:00 o'clock p.m. on

BIDS FOR SECTION VII AND MORAGA
PilliP STATION I
. The tabulated bids for the construction of Main Trunk Section
VII And Moraga Pump Station I were referred to the Engineer and
Attorney for study and report. on April 6, 1950.
LISTING 10 ACRES OF PROPERTY AT
TREATMENT PLANT FOR SALE.
. It was moved by Member Cornwall, seconded by Member Smitten,
that the Board give a 90 day exclusive to Mr. Abersold for sale of
approximately 10 acres at ,the sewage treatment ple.nt. Carried by
the following vote:

NOES: Members - None

INCREASE IN SALARY - CLAUDE M. MCPHEE
. . It was moved by, Member Cornwall, seconded by Member Smitten,
that the Board authorize an increase in salary to $450.00 per
month for Claude M. McPhee. Carried by the following vote:

INCREASE IN SALARY - LLOYD SMITH
It waS moved by Member Cornwall, seconded by Member Smitten,
that the Board authorize an increase in salary to $300.00 per month
for Lloyd Smith. Carried by the following vote:

FINAL PAYMENT TO BRAILSFORD & HARRISON
FOR LOCAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO.1
It was moved by Member Smitten, seconded by Member Cornwall,
that the Boprd authorize final payment in the amount of $1265.22
to Messrs. Brailsford and Harrison for their services on Local
Improvement District No.1. Carried by the following vote:

BILL PRESENTED BY HANLIN, MOONIE & CO.
AUDITORS
The Attorney's opinion dated March 30, 1950 on the propriety
of paying the bill presented by Hanlin, Moonie and Company was
read to the Board.

The Members present agreed to take no action on the hill until
there was a full Board present.
ADJOURNMENT
Chairman Toland adjourned the meeting to 8:00 o'clock p.m. on
April 6, 1950.
