MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE
DISTRICT BOARD OF CENTRAL CONTRA COSTA
SANITARY DISTRICT HELD OCTOBER 6. 1949
The District Board of Central Contra Costa Sanitary Dist~ict
convened in regular session at its regular place of.meeting locat~d
at 1822 Mt. Diablo Boulevard, in the City of Walnut Creek, County
of Contra Costa, State of California, at the hour of 8:00 o'clock
p.m.
The meeting was called to order by President Wadsworth, and
the following roll was called:

Members - None.
READING OF MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING
The Minutes of the previous meeting were read by the Secretary
and were corrected as follows:
On page 126, a typographical error waS corrected to read "$325."
in lieu of "$350.11 per month.
The Minutes were approved as
corrected.
CŒ-1MUNICATIONS
The Secretary read a letter from Mr. Paul W. Ayer, dated
Sep'tember 28, and the }'Ianager1s A.nswer dated October 5, 1949.
Mr. Ayer desired an opinion regarding future permits for septic
tanks in the Panoramic RRnch area.
PAYMENT OF INCIDENTAL EXPENSES FOR
LOCAL IMPROYEM~NT DISTRICT NO.15
It was moved by Member Smitten, seconded by Member Weill, and
unanimously carried, that $11,309.76 received from Clyde C. Kennedy,
said sum representing the incidental expenses incurred to August 31,
1949 on Local Improvement District No. 15, the following amounts,as
approved by the District Manager, be disbursed from said sum for
such incidental expenses as follows:
$5,134.21 to Clyde C. Kennedy for engineering services rendered
to August 31, 1949 for Local Im9rovement District No.
15.
$
733.46 for legal services rendered to August 31, 1949 for Local
Improvement District No. 15 to be paid pursuant to con-
tract as follows:

the balance of said sum advanced for incidental. expenses
to be deposited.to the credit of the Running Expense Fund
of Central Contra Costa Sanitary District to reimburse
said fund for monies heretofore advanced for incidental
expenses incurred by the Se.nitary District for' Local Im-
provement District No. 15.

EASÐ1ENT PAYMENT FOR PARCEL 33 LID 7
. It was moved by Member Johnson, seconded by Member Smitten, and
unanimously carried that the Board authorize payment of $150.00 to
Mr.' Sprenkel in consideration of grant of easement known as PArcel 33
of Local Improvement District No.7.
PURCHASE OF DICTATING EQUIPMENT
. The Board instructed the Manager to purchase what ever dictating
and' transcribing equipment was necessary for the office..
PAYMENT OF BILLS
It was moved by Member Smitten, seconded by Member Toland, and
unanimously carried that bills as checked by the Ma.nager and approved
by -the Auditing Committee be paid:

It was moved by Member Smitten, seconded by Member Toland and
unanimously carried that the BoRrd authorize payment of $350.00 to
Edgar C. Ingram in consideration of grant of easement known as
Parcel 28 of Local Improvement District No. 14.
EASEMENT PAYMENT FOR PARCEL 28 LID 14
MAINTENANCE OF OFFICE BUILDING
The Manager was instructed by the Board to report on costs for
refinishing the outside of the office building, and to get opinions
from painters as to the most satisfactory type of preservative.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business, the President adjourned the
meeting to November 3, 1949 at 8:00 o'clock p.m.
