MINUTES OF A REGULAR MBETING

CENTRAL CONTRA COSTA SANITARY DIS1RICT
HELD APRIL 5, 1956

The District Board of Central Contra Costa Sanitary District convened
in a Regular Session at its regular place of meeting located at 1822 Mt.
Diablo Boulevard, City of Walnut Creek. County of Contra Costa, State of
California. on April 5, 1956, at 8:00 o'clock P.M.
In the absence of. President Roemer, Member Mitchell called the meeting
to order.

Member Mitchell was unanimously elected President Pro Tem.
II.
APffiOVAL OF MINUTES
The Minutes of the meeting of March 22; 1956, were approved subject to
correcting the last item under VII. NEW BUSINESS as follows:
"MEETING CONCHRNING ORINDA PUMPING STATIONS

Member Spiegl reported that he had been contacted by the Directors of
the Orinda Association on behalf of residents in the area of the pumping
stations concerning the noise and appearance and asked that Mr. Horstkotte,
along with himself, meet with the residents on April 7, 1956, to discuss
the problem."
III.
APPROVAL OF BILLS
It was moved by Member Spiegl, seconded by Member Fisher, that the
bills as audited by the Auditing Committee and as submitted by the District
Manager be approved, reference being specifically made to Sewer Construction
Vouchers Numbers 694 to 700, inclusive, and Running Expense Vouchers Numbers
ll,355 to 11,489, inclusive,'and that, in the absence of President Roemer, his
signature stamp be used on the checks for the bills approved. Carried by the

INNIS ANNEXATION
President Pro Tem Mitchell opened the Hearing on the Innis Annexation

HAMILION VALLEY SUBDIVISION SEWERS
Mr. Horstkotte, District Manager, stated he had a request to sewer a sub-
division in the Hamilton Valley which, by installing a larger line than required,
would eliminate the Aca1anes Valley Pumping Station. thereby reducing annual
maintenance costs by an estimated $700.00 to $800.00. This would necessitate
the District's in~ta11ing approximately 500 feet of line at an estimated cost
of $2,000.00.

draiaage. grade and pave the aewaite.

Mr. Horstkotte stated he would like to order the pipe for the draiDage
