COSTA SANITARY DISTlìICT HELD HAY 25, 1965 The District Board of Central Contra Costa Sanitary District convened in an Adjourned Regular Session at its regular place of meeting located at 1250 Springbrook Road, ::Jalnut Creek, County of Contra Costa, State of California, on May 25,1965, at 8:00 o'clock P.M., for the continued Heari~g on Local Improvement District No. ~~-8. The meeting was called to order by President Mitchell. I. ROLL CALL PRESENT: Hembers: Gibbs, Rustigian, Roemer and Mitchell ABSENT: l'~ember : Howard II. HEARINGS LOCAL IlPROVEHENT DISTRICT NO. 144-8 President Hi tchell opened the continued Hearing for Local Improvement District No. 4L.-8 and explained the problems for Hember Roemer and property owners not present at the time of the Hearing. Hr. Horstkotte, Engineer for Local Improvement District No. l~4 ,pre- sented maps on the screen and explained the service available to the several properties outside of the Assessment District, and sewers to be installed in the Assessment District. Mr. Borstkotte stated that, if sewers were installed by any of these property owners in advance of an Assessment District, it would be necessary for them to install main line extensions under the District rebate pro- visions, and to furnish rights of way. }~. Horstkotte stated that the Assessment District presented the lower cost to the property owners after giving Local Improvement District No. 44 assessment credit for those properties assessed in Local Improvement District No.8. Hr. Cornelison, owner of Assessment Parcel No. 44-8-2-5, was not in agreement and continued his protest of inclusion in Local Improvement District No. 44. ~~e other property owners present, Assessment Parcel Nos. 44-8-2-1, H. Cary, 44-8-2-2, G. Howerton, 44-8-2-3, C. King and 44-8-2-4, E. Franceschi, on question from President Mitchell, had no protests on being included in Local Improvement District No. 44-8. After discussion, President Mitchell closed the Hearing on Local Improve- ment District No. 44-8. It was moved by Member Giths, seconded by Member Roemer, that the protests for Local Improvement District No. 44-8 be denied.
