A called meeting of the Board of Directors was held at the place
and upon the date above written. Present were Directors Weill.
Toland, îuttle and Wadsworth. Absent. Direotor Johnson.
The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved as read.
Letters were read from the Pleasant view Homes, Inc., Hagner
Monson. Lindell Uompany and Dr. Powell, County Health Office,
relative to the installation of collective sewerage systems in
sub divisions. A general discussion was had relative to the
matter, and the matter was referred to the engineer to consult
with the attorney and draft the proper ordinance to permit the
Board to act.
Upon motion duly made by Director îuttle, seconded by Direotor
Wadsworth, the following resolution was passed:

BE IT HEREBY RESOL~rEDthat Mr. William H. . Brailsford, Jr.
of Orinda be appointed attorney for this Board.

Upon motion duly made by Direotor Toland, seconded by Director
ïuttle and unanimously carried, the Attorney and Engineer were
instructed to prepare as soon as possible an ordinance for
plumbing and sewerage.
The following bills were ordered paid. and the Secretary was
ordered to prepare vouchers:

The Secretary was instructed to see the Supervisors relative to
their concurring in allocation of fund for preparation of plans
and specifications of the Central Contra vosta Sanitary District.
Mr. ~orrest, Engineer. presented his qualifications for p03ition
with the District.
Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried. the meeting
adjourned until October 31,1946.
