A called meeting of the Board of Direotors of the ventral contra
Costa ~anitary ~istrict was held in the City Hall at Walnut vreek,
california at 8 o'olook p. m. on the date above written.
Present:
Absent:
Directors Johnson, Tuttle, Wadsworth and Weill
Director ~oland.
President Weill presiding.
Minutes of the previous meeting were approved as read.
A copy of a letter written to Vistrict Attorney collins from
Attorney Wilson relative to the legality of the County AudItor
passing for payment warrants drawn by this Board of Direotors
on the County ~reaBury was read. Mr. Wilson's opinion upheld
the opinion of vounty Auditor ~eeter that this ßoard has the
right to draw such warrants. This opinion was made at the
request of the board of Directors.
Mr. Clyde Kennedy and Mr. Shaw of the Clyde Kennedy Engineering
Go. were present and Mr. Kennedy presented to the Board the many
sanitary districts that their organization had installed; also
gave a very interesting talk on the many problems that confront
a sanitary district under present conditions, also the revised
fees of the American Society of ~ngineers.
The Secretary was instructed to write to different Sanitary
Boards relative to fees, expenses, etc., that they paid during
their formation and construction periods.
There being no further business, upon motion duly made, seconded,
and carried, the Board adjourned until Tuesday evening, 8 o'cloo~
::>eptember 3, the meeting to be held at the same place.
