Di8.blo Blvd., City of ~'Jalnut Creek, County of Con"tra Costa, state of California, on May 6, 1954. The meeting was called to order by President Johnson. I. It was moved by Member Roemer, seconded by Member Stanley, that t~e President's resignation be accBpted with regrets. DANVILLt'~ A~\JNEY.1\.~'TON RE~;:U¡';ST After discussion relative to the ~istrict accepting Denville area seHage fop treat:nent on a gallonage basis, the District Ivlanager was instructed to ~ive the Danville group a firm figure for the total cost 6f conveying to the treat~ent plant and treating. Prelim:Lnary repo:c-t from the District Manager to the District ~~oard relative to tlje District's cost of treating at the treat:nent plant given toTr. Holstroy'¡} of the Danville group. After discussion of the financial problens of the Central Contra Costa Sanitary District, along with t1:1e e-rr18rgency nature of the Dp!'lville problem, Member Salfingere moved that the policy of the December 17, 19.53 meet~ng be restated and reaffirmed as of this date, May 6, 1954. Seconded by Member MacPhail. Levinson of the Southern Public Utility District. After the discussion, it was moved by Member Salfingere, seconded by :..rember Stanley, that the terms for annexation to the District would be to install a mini~um 18 inch line from the Danvllle area to NeVJell Avenue in i::alnut Creek, but in no event s~:all facility con- struction be less than ¿"500,00:). VI. NE~¡ BUSI NESS PROPOSAL OF A Sa',J:SR REN1'AL CHARGE I'.1A~,E BY HR. SPIEGL The D~ trict Manager and the District' Attorney were instructed to present a memoraDdl~ of facts to the District Board for the next meet ing covering the follow ing reques ted information: Estimated number of homes connected to date. Estimated number of homes not connected. Assessed valuation of District. Cost of the most iramediate needs of the ~istrict. Cost of equipment needed to bill and collect rental charge. Cost to put into effect. Cost of collection,. Manner of collection. Mr. Nejedly to prepare suggestions for an Ordinarc e with blank amounts. Mr. Salfingere stated tha.t Hr. 1¡tfpyne Thompson, Richmond City Manager, had recent survey made relative to the above for Ricræond and the figures would be available. Along wi tll the above, Hember Spiegl suggested tha t the t ax rate for the coming year be discussed at the next meeting. PROPOSAL TO RCTURN UNUSED BAIANCE OF $3,000.00 DEPOSI';r'ED BY S.P.U.D. Mr. Nejedly brought up the matter of returning the unused balance of the ~3,000.OO deposited by the Southern Public Dtility Listrict. Held over to the June 3, 1954 mee-r;ing. VII.
