MINUTES OF AN ADJOURNED MEETING
OF THE DISTRICT BOARD
CENTRAL CONTRA COSTA SANITARY DISTRICT HELD
JUNE 25,1953
The District Board of Central Contra Costa Sanitary District
convened in an Adjourned session at its regular place of meeting
located at 1822 Mount Diablo Blvd., City of Walnut Creek, County
of Contra Costa, State of California, on June 25, 1953.
The meeting was called to order at 8:10 P.M. by President
Spiegl.
PRESENT:
ABSENT:
Members Stanley, Roemer, Salfingere, Spiegl
Member Johnson
MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING
The Minutes of the meeting of June 4, 1953, were approved as
presented.
BUDGET
It was moved by Member Roemer, seconded by Member Stanley, that
the budget, as presented by the Engineer, be approved, with the
addition of $25,000.00 as construction fund. Carried by the following
vote:
AYES: Members Stanley, Roemer, Salfingere, Spiegl
NOES: None
ABSENT: Member Johnson
CLAYTON VALLEY ANNEXATION
The Engineer outlined to the Board for the first time the
request of property owners of Clayton Valley for information relative
to annexing to the District.
The following people from the Clayton Valley area, for and
against the annexation, were heard:
Mr. Peckman, Mr. Richard Wallace, Mr. Emmit J. Daily,' Mr.
Merle Andriff, Mr. T. E. Mundy, Mr. R. W. Lundeen and Mr. Geo.
Cardinet.
The Board stated the members would study the report presented
by the ~ngineer and give the property owners an answer at as early
a date as possible.
AUTHORIZATION TO SIGN CERTIFICATE
OF COMPLIANCE
~ It was moved by Member Salfingere, seconded by Member Roemer,
that Mr. Claude N. McPhee be authorized to sign certificate of
compliance and to c~rtify to the County government the list of
employees who have signed the loyalty oath. Carried by the following
vote:
AYES: Members Stanley, Spiegl, Salfingere, Roemer
NOES: None
ABSENT: Member Johnson
REPORT ON TAXING PROPERTY m'¡NED BY
E.B.M.U.D.
Mr. Nejedly was instructed to submi t a report at as early a
date as practicable on the tax liability of East Bay Municipa¡ Utility
District land held in a proprietary capacity, if any.

AD JORNMENT
The meeting was adjourned to the next regular session on July 2,
1953, by President Spiegl.
