MINUTES OF A SPECIAL MEETING OF
THE DISTRICT BOAED OF CENTRAL CONTRA COSTA
SANITARY DISTRICT HELD DECEMBER 16. 1950
The District Board of Central Contra Costa Sanitary District con-
vened in special session at its regular place of meeting located at
1822 Mt. Diablo Boulevard, in the City of Walnut Creek, County of
Contra Costa, State of California at the hour of 10:00 o'clock A.M.
The meeting was called to order by President Johnson, and the
following roll was called:

Members Malott, Smitten, Toland, Wadsworth and Johnson

READING OF MINUTES OF THE PREVIOUS MEETING
The reading of the Minutes of the previous meeting was waived.
The Attorney reported on a conference between County Supervisors,
County Su~veyor and the State Engineer held at Sacramento on December
14, 1950, at which meeting Assemblyman Condon and Mr. Nejedly were
present.
The State indicated that it would allocate matching funds to those
of the County and other local agencies for repair of flood damage;
funds to be allocated provided report of damage from the State Engineer
results in favorable recommendation by the State.
FLOOD DAMAGE REPAIR PARTICIPATION
It was moved by Memb~r Wadsworth, seconded by Member Malott, and
unanimously carried, that the District join with the County in applica-
tion to the State for funds for flood damage repairs for correction of
the old channel of Walnut Creek north of the Arnold Highway, and con-
tribute such amount to the work as the District Engineer and the
Attorney consider to be the District's interest in this work; also
that the District join with the County in application for State Funds
for repair of flood damage to the Oxidation Ponds, or make separate
application as it may, in the opinion of the District Engineer and
Attorney, be to the best interest of the District.
ADJOURNMENT
President adjourned the Meeting to December 21, 1950 at 8:00 o'clock
p.m.
