HomeMy WebLinkAboutBOARD MINUTES 11-16-50 50 MINUTES OF AN ADJOURNED MEETING OF THE DISTRICT BOARD OF CENTRAL CONTRA COSTA SANITARY DISTRICT HELD NOVEMBER 16. 1950 The District Board of Central Contra Costa Sanitary District convened in adjourned session at its regular place of meeting lo- cated at 1822 Mt. Diablo Boulevard, in the City of Walnut Creek, County of Contra Costa, State of California, on October 19, 1950 at 8:00 o'clock p.m. The meeting was called to order by President Johnson, and the following roll was called: PRESENT: ABSENT: Members Malott, Smitten, Toland, Wadsworth and Johnson Members - None READING OF MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING The Minutes of the previous meeting were read and were approved as entered. OPENING HEARING AGAINST WORK AND ASSESSMENT OF LOCAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO.9 President Johnson opened the hearing of protests against the work of Local Improvement District No.9, and asked the Enginee~ to explain the procedure and method of making the assessment, and the manner in which assessments could be paid. Letters from the following protestants were read and considered: Albert Wegars, Charles W. OIBryan, Rolf de Trentini, Emile J. Martin, Will ,. Bishop, Mrs. Olive Y. Hyde. Requests for reapportionment by M. C. Frank, and Norman Buckhart, were granted. There were no oral protests. The President advised the protestants that their protests would be given further consideration and investigation.. REGARDING SEWERS TO SLEEPY HOLLOW LOCAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 22 The Manager was instructed to notify the residents of the area to be known as Local Improvement District No. 22, by mail that a meeting would be held to determine whether or not the area should be sewered at this time. He was further instructed to ask the County Health Department to be present to address the property owners. RE-GRADING OF DRIVEWAY AT THE OFFICE BUILDING The Manager was instructed to accept the bid of O. C. Jones and Sons in the amount of $175.00 to regrade the east driveway at the office building. REVISION TO ORDINANCES NO.3 & 8 The Board instructed the Engineer to consul~with the Attorney and draw up an ordinance revising Ordinances Nos. 3 and 8, revising the amount of inspection fees. 11 16 50 51 FUTURE ANNEXATIONS The Attorney informed the Board that the Boundary Commission had reQuested that they be permitted to approve any future annexations that the Board might consider, before the Board presented the petition to the Board of Supervisors.
