The District Board of Central Contra Costa Sanitary District convened
in an Adjourned Regular Session at its régular place of aeeting located at
1822 Mt. Diablo Boulevard, City of Walnut Creek, County of Contra Costa,
State of California, on April 26,1956. at 8:00 o'clock P.M.
The meeting was called to order by President RoeMr.

BROWN AND CAIDWELL MASTER PLAN REPORT
In the. absence of a representative frora Brown aDd Caldwell, Mr. Horstkotte,
District Manager, proceeded to review briefly each chapter of the Report.'
Mellber Mitchell felt the new specificatioDS for house' sewers were Rot up
to the reco.-eDdatioD8 in the Report and questioned the allowance for ...pended
solids relatiYe to ho8e garbage grinders in the Report.
Mr. Horstkotte stated tat he felt that both of the ite.. were ac1eq_te.

by Mellber Mitchell, that Mr. Nejedly, Couuel for the District, be authorized
to request the Health Officer of the County to ate a findi.1II tat the "proceeds

Mr. Horattotte, District Mauler, reported that he alld Mr. Nejedly bad

Mr. Nejedly, Counsel for the District, reported that Corlett. Spackman,
Architects for the new office building, were requesti., that an alteraate bid
be aated. allowing 200 days for coapletioD of tþe new office building. Mr.
Richardson, purchaser of the present office sUe was c.tacted and was willing
to grant an extension of tiae at $500.00 per lÍonth.
It waa moved by Meaber Mitchell, seconded by Meaber Spiecl, that an alter- .
Date bid, allowing 200 days for coaatructioa of the Dew office building, be
authorized. Carried by the following vote, .

Member Spiegl reported on the Sacraaento Nørthern Railway grant in¡
easements to the District rather thaD lice...s and suggested that Mr. Rorstkotte
contact their eDgineeriDS departMnt for an appointment and he would go with
him to discuss the matter.
