CENTRAL SAN ACADEMY
1) Central San Academy Now Accepting Sign-ups — Spring 2019 Session
Begins March 19
The fourth Central San Academy will be held next spring, every Tuesday night from
6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., beginning March 19 and ending on April 30. Classes will be held
at the Collection System Operations Facility in Walnut Creek, with the exception of the
facilities tour, which will be held at the Martinez headquarters. Traditionally, the Board
President has presented on "Governance of a Public Agency and the Role of the Board"
during the first night, and Board Members have participated in a town-hall-style Q&A on
the final evening. As always, Board Members are invited to attend all classes and will be
receiving appointment invitations via Outlook. Sign-ups are open to the public now, and
information and a link to the application can be found on Central San's website at
www.centralsan.org/central-san-academy. Staff looks forward to continuing the tradition
of welcoming interested members of the public to learn about Central San's services and
programs.
